Blogger's Guilt

Dearest Gentle Readers,

I'm so, so behind in my blog-rounds. I've been wrapped up in my search for the perfect home and in my quest to sell my current home and in, well, being a mom to four very very young children. I'm mostly keeping up on reading your posts thanks to Ye Olde Google Reader, but I'm rarely commenting or responding these last few days.

Basically, I suck. I don't know how I can even call myself a "blogger." I know that many of you who voted for me are wishing you could take it back. I wonder if they let you do that...

But WAIT! No! Don't give up on me!!! I'll get back on my game, I promise! Look! There's even a new poll to entertain yourself with in the sidebar until I get back on my bloggy feet, as it were.

I think that if I weren't so obsessed with blogging, I wouldn't feel so guilty. If I didn't love your blogs and your posts and your comments so much, it would be no big deal. But I DO! And I can't wait to get back to it!

So, to sum up, I think that my not commenting on your blog is hurting me more than it's hurting you. :-D

*sniff*

I would say you've got your priorities right! I need to get on that myself lol!

I totally understand. I was a slug at work for like, six months (that's how I got into blogs!), but now we are just swamped with work. The "bug" I caught was actually very good for my work life. I should get set up on on of those reader things, though. That would probably help.

Plus, it's finally nice out. That's a big thing for me, too. Oh, and that pesky depression stuff.

Anyway, my point is that we all have things that get us wrapped up and as long as you comment once in a while, I won't take you off my blog roll.

(hahaha, SOOO just kidding!!! Your spot is permanent!)

Said in my best "dorie" voice:

Coooooommme Baaaa-aaack!

Brillig, you are loved adored and admired. And it's understandable that you sometimes (occasionally, every once in a great while) need to take care of things (ahem. people) in your "real" life.
We can wait and be patient. We're big kids.
See you soon.
Hope Mom's day was wonderful for a wonderful Mom like you!

Okay, it's official, you're adorable.

I'm a new-ish reader, and already hooked. No worries, eh?

Don't feel the need to explain. We just wait in the wings for when you are posting again. :o)

You rock, and we all completely understand. (Would you mind very much if I just quoted your post on my blog and said "ditto," because the same goes for me. The only difference is that I suck at it more than you...oh, and that I'm not nominated for any awards. LOL!)

no worries.

Oh I've had those days too.
Just to make it easier on you I'm turning off my word verification. How's that for a late Mother's Day gift??

So you're kind of obsessive too ? I'm very quickly getting that way about this blogging thing - so I absolutely feel your pain :)

Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

I went through quite a while where I only read and commented, didn't write. Sometimes life gets in the way of what you wanna do.

Oh dearie, how could we ever hate you?

Especially with that AWESOME new masthead. I just LOVE it!

So, let's make a deal, I'll vote for you if you vote for me. Wink, wink.

It's just a drag when you lose momentum. People stop coming by. There is no way around it, if you want people actively visiting, you have to actively visit! (I think that's a Proverb. Hehehe)

And guilt is an entirely useless emotion.

blogging can be very time consuming - can completely understand why you might need to be absent occassionally!

Can someone teach me how to do that?

Pretty new page! I think I'll take another stab at a new look for me too.
This is very warm and cozy, I love it in here. I think I should grab a cup of joe before starting to read.
